NGC 6814
An intermediate spiral galaxy in Aquila 75 million light years from here. The galaxy is seen almost face on and is classified as a Seyfert galaxy with a very bright nucleus. There is a huge black hole at least 10 million times the mass of our sun within the galaxy which is surrounded by a region of hot plasma.
Notice the very nicely defined core and the very faint outer arms not imaged very often.
Imaged in LRGB on our CDK 1000 at Observatorio El Sauce, Chile
